Mercedes Production in Indiana

AM General and Mercedes-Benz project could cause competition for hundreds of new jobs

R-Class production moving from Alabama to Indiana. Yes, the R-Class, which dealers can't give away in the US . . . is a big seller in China.

An R-Class built under contract by the same people who built the HumVee. What could possibly go wrong?

We're talking the R-Class, right? I'd say not much more.

I can see people dislike them, but they are pretty nice to drive.

I haven't driven one. I've only seen one or two in the U.S. I've seen many more overseas. I now see on Wikipedia that they're RWD. That raises my level of interest in them from none to just a little.
