Question Printing a manual from CD

I was wondering if anyone has printed off a complete manual (for your model/year)from the MB service manual CD.I find it hard to see the 'big picture' just looking at the monitor. It must be a few hundred pages at least.I guess I'm just behind the times but I prefer a book for reading.

800 pages.

I did my cd at work with one of our 90 ppm printers. It was a lot of work to weed out all of the extraneous info since the cd covered 16 years and three distinct models.

In my printed version it is indexed differently than the cd. IE all springs are after the spring seperator/index. The tune-up section also has the fuel injection diagnostics etc..

P.S. Of course I did this after hours and supplied my own paper

I have printed a good portion of the engine manual from the CD, hole punched them and put them in a binder. Each time I need info I will continue to do this. I have a computer in my garage but I don't like getting grease on the mouse!:

Holy...800 pages

I think it might be worth it to do a certain section at a time, until finally I have about 10 binders full!Of course now I have to buy a printer .I just don't like not being able to flip 'easily' from one area to another,so I'm with you Bill.I suppose it was just wishful thinking on my part when I bought the CD($150Cdn,through the dealer, jobber wanted $175)that I would be able to find my year and model, and have a icon that said 'send to printer'

Holy 800 pages

Sorry if I miss lead you the whole CD was 800 pages. It was much less just using the sections that pertained to my particular model and things that would the average mechanic would do. Like the section on rebuiding the transmision I only included the r+r section.
