Of course the Budweiser puppy and horses commercial was good. But I really liked this Turbo Tax Boston Tea Party ad.

Of the car ads, the Lexus "drift" commercial was the best, the others, including the Mercedes "great race" we're meh. The Nissan racer dad . . . What was that about?

I liked the Liam Neeson ad. The correction of his name's pronunciation and the low-key way he did it was a hoot.

The Nissan ad was compelling to watch for me but I also found it curious. I missed the Mercedes ad I think.

Budweiser took a pretty funny swipe at the craft beer drinkers.

“Let them sip their pumpkin peach ale, we’ll be brewing us some golden suds.”

However, one of the microbreweries that A-B bought makes Gourdgia on my Mind Pecan Peach Pumpkin Amber

From first class of that 777 he acquired last year. But now he is thinking of upgrading to the used AF1 747-200B (for the defense systems) when it goes on the auction block with the upgrade to the new 787-8.

For existing owner of a Kia Sorento, having Pierce Brosnan pitch your car must have been cool . . . but for someone looking for a awd utility . . . would it make you buy a Kia?

Fiat . . . needs viagra?

However, Toyota . . . thanks for the Ali speech voice over, what a fantastic reminder:

Ima show you how great I am.
Last night, I cut the light off in my bedroom and was in bed before the room was dark.
Ima show you how great I am.
Only last week, I murdered a rock, injured a stone, hospitalized a brick.
I'm so mean, I make medicine sick.
Ima show you how great I am.
This kid's gonna be the best kid in the world.
This kid's gonna be somebody better than anybody I ever knew.
Ima show you how great I am.
I have wrestled with an alligator.
I done tussled with a whale.
I done handcuffed lightning.
Thrown thunder in jail.
Ima show you how great I am.
All you chumps are gonna bow when I whoop him, all of you.
I know you got him.
I know you've got him picked, but the man's in trouble.
Ima show you how great I am.

I missed them all and am not sorry. Costco and FiveGuys were blessedly uncrowded, and the highway was nearly devoid of traffic.

The Nissan commercial was definitely my favorite, maybe just because I'm a car guy but I found it very touching. Doesn't make me want to go out and buy a Maxima though, it makes me want to race their LMP1 car...
