I have one for sale

Hey there. Long time no see.

I actually have a Cummins Engine for sale. It fits the bill; pre-electronics; takes 3 wires to start.

Here's a video of it:

@Daw, I would feel Horrible to gut that truck, I need just the engine, I'd love to buy that Dakota. Cant swing it. but I'd love to have it....

the engine will go into a Plymouth Shunt engine for a 3' Gauge RR here... so it has to be atleast a 6 Cyl turbo... it's got some weight to heft around...

While I've never used them, I have a customer that's gotten some engines and rears from them. They're in MA but they will ship. They do have an '02 (newer than you're looking for) for $1800 w/core but do have some earlier 6BT's that don't list a price.

Go with that nice 24v Bus engine above and ditch the VP44 and put the existing P-pump of the old engine on it! Best of both worlds! I know that swap has been done pretty cheaply, like rebending the injection lines and what not.

Skippy~ As for perception: Drive what you like and can afford. Those who don't like it can supply vacuum to one of your components. LOL

If you need parts, I have some!
