My dad does the same thing. Drinks the same pot for about a week. Every morning on his way out the door he nukes a cup. I can't stand more than day old coffee. When I'm actually at the office, I drink 4-6 8oz cups, when in the field it's usually 1 24oz.

At first I figured either I'd mis-read this or you meant something else.

Yuck. Just Yuck!

We want to try running vinegar through a coffee maker to pour over fire ant hills. Supposedly the steaming vinegar makes gaseous acid and nukes the ants. Sounds like the coffee you drink might kill ants too. I doubt there's much difference after three days; do you ever confuse the two and drink the vinegar instead?

Looks like the steaming vinegar does in fact nuke fire ants. Still not sure how it will affect plant growth and soil pH. Old coffee pots can live on as bug killers.
