Huh? I-Drive in a Merc? and the steering wheel emblem is hideous, in my opinion!

It has a &^&*(^(*( I drive knob I'll wait for the W222 no thanks.

It is hard to judge from dark pics, I'll have to wait until I can sit in it.

Well I think the steering wheel emblem is disguised... for obvious reasons.

I'm convinced these guys have lost it...hope they sell a million of them 'cause they need to keep stocking parts for my w1XX cars...

--Anyone remember the ad MB ran a few years ago: "Idrive? No, you drive." or something to that effect?

Can't say that I hate it... but there's something strange about the interior. Not really that "mercedes-ish" anymore. The dash is too big... and the buttons where you normally find on the AC panel area is now BEHIND the gear shifter. The only thing that I like about the interior is the steering wheel and seats. The other parts I believe need a vast improvement. Very plain looking with the command system gone(unless its moved up onto the dash, which IMO is stupid.

Like someone already said, it is too Buickish!

Looks like the interior belongs in a boat!

Will someone please answer my question as to why most manufacturers feel the need to have an oversized seemingly eight foot long dashboard that extends from the A-Pillar to the instrument cluster? It just makes forward visibility non-existent, is terrible for glare, it's ugly, and is wasted space.

I'd say the car I have my hopes up for is the Bentley Flying Spur. It's the first car in maybe a decade that I have actually fallen in love with at first site. Too bad I couldn't say "PARTS WILL BE CHEAP, AIR SHOCKS NOT SPRINGS, WILL LAST 500K MILES TROUBLE FREE FOR 30 YEARS".

Heck, what can you expect for a car that was disguised using a W220 mockup costume. It MEANS that perhaps the Bentley will be the next OLD WORLD MB S-Class we can look forward to.

I see potential in VW products and their respective automotive branches. I like their product.

Another thought...

How long will it be before we look back on the good ol' W220 days... you know, 'the last real S-Class'?
