Mercedes thread...

This thread is to just celebrate everything Mercedes. I miss my car and I'm going to get another one shortly.

I have come to the conclusion that even though they break and are a PITA some times they really are good cars. I can honestly say I still miss my last Mercedes and really, really want another one.

Looking back the most amazing times I have had in a vehicle, it was a Mercedes. From getting laid in a W126 to doing some crazy **** in a G wagon.

Pics or it didn't happen

Ha ha! What model are you thinking for your next venture? I think you spent too much time working on your 126, it was probably just fine without all your time and extra moolah.

FWIW, C300/350's are a dime a dozen around here. The W124Cs & Cabriolets stand out with grace, style and distinction, however. IMHO of course.

Of course, when I pass by an S63, I nod to the driver in respect.

I'm in the same boat. I love the Miata (for being a pure drivers car), but miss that 3-pointed star. Lots of good memories were had, and kinda want to make lots of new memories.

I've know many folks, men and women, who have gone through Porsche, BMW, Vettes, Mustangs/Cobras, but eventually gravitate to Mercedes, more so than the other way around in the long term. For street and highway driving, it's a pretty hard package to beat.

No shame in a relapse. Pick and choose very carefully on the replacement for the renewed addiction.

Really liking the w221's. They seem to be much less troublesome than the w220's.

me too

I miss driving a big w126; plus it has a backseat big enough to have a party.

I really need to finish my daughter's w123 and get to work on the 350SDL.

I'm looking forward to the W205, 2016 C450 AMG Sport. Not as crazy as a C63, but some interesting features and numbers.
