Wow! Is this real, or a glitch in the server counter? I logged out and back in, and it still shows 387 members on line!

I'm seeing 400!!!

I thought it was a glitch too but it looks like it's for real. Nice to see so many members logged in.

It looks like the software is not recognizing when people leave, so the number will continue to grow until its fixed.

I'm seeing 544. Pretty impressive numbers, even if in error. I think it is rooted in the "fix" to stop the automated "mark as read" glitch. Sure everything will be worked out soon, might simply entail manually logging out at night to dump the cookie.

Thank god I thought it was just me getting senile,but don't rule that out yet!!!I have been having problems logging on for a few days now,over here in the evenings after about 21.30 hrs.I just hope some evil bastard hasn't dropped a virus on us,is that possible? Bear

I logged on for a few minutes last night. I usually don't look at the "logged in" list but when I looked down to check my messages, I saw half a page of names!! I thought. "Dang! This is when everybody gets on!!" I wasn' t able to stay long but I can say "Dude! I was there, man!:D " This ranks right up there with the time I almost got ran over by Arnold Palmer in front of the Augusta National clubhouse!:p

Even while inaccurate, it is a nice glimpse into the volume of folks that read regularly!
