One thing is now quite clear.
When the Cavs are playing without Irving, and the Warriors are playing without Curry, the teams are very evenly matched. |

IMO, your statement should be modified to reflect that even though Curry was on the floor, and they were a man down most of the night and had no other supporting cast, they still managed to take it to OT, having a chance (air ball) to win in the end. The above is said w/o the opportunity to have seen instant replays. The crowd was all over the ref's during commercial breaks. Hearing was muffled for hours afterwards, never heard anything that loud. Many of the calls seem to go the Cav's way. I understand from this mornings news that Cav's fans having the benefit of instant replay might not have felt the same. Will be interesting going forward. Go Dubs!!

Wow, what a treat to have gone to the game, sounds like a blast. Nonetheless, it had to be a long ride home......a nice ride in a Bluetec..... but long one after that loss. Go Cavs!

Dang man, I'm wondering if they're better with Delli. Not has flashy as Irving but solid. I won't be surprised if Cleveland takes it. The Dubs don't have a leader, a go to guy as reliable. I'll give our guys credit for coming back in the 4th, nothing dull about the game, but they've got a contest on their hands.

The Cavs - players and fans - are hungrier.
The NBA game is getting a bit weird for me. They go over and place their hands on the guy they want to put on the line, some 50% FT shooter and the refs dutifully call it. Meanwhile Delly puts his hands more forcefully on Curry right and left - ball denial they call it - and rarley does that get called no matter who does it. Never have like the handchecking crap. Why don't they just put their man in a headlock? THAT would be really effective defense. Oh boy. Also: traveling. Just saw James take 4 steps on his way to the hoop. Happens all the time these days. Blake Griffin routinely takes 3 or 4. I was a baller in the day. I know steps, pivot foot, etc. They're letting the stars travel. A lot. Also: LeBron James admirable in so many ways . . . but Jeez, does anyone else whine as hard when he doesn't get the call he wants? A few minutes ago, he tried to fake getting fouled and did a bit of a flop towards the end - no call - and then whined hard. Kerr is a savvy coach. They were down 2-1 against Memphis, Kerr did some fine tuning and they win 3 in a row.

Anyone catch Curry and Lee giving Dellavedova what for after the latter made some crack to Lee?

David Lee got bumped by Matthew Dellavedova and said some bad words - SBNation.com (turn volume off) I wanna know what Delly said.

It's a bit strange that Blatt hasn't played Sean Marion yet that I've seen. He is getting older - 37 - but he's been in pressure situations before and with Blatt beating the hell out of his 7 main players, wouldn't hurt to experiment with more personnel. In game 4, 3 subs did come in for the last 3 minutes but this was after the game was out of reach. One of them being Mike Miller who might give them some help if he got, say 15 to 20 minutes a game.

Well, it looks like I was correct, 4-2 ... except I picked the wrong teams ... lol

I dunno. GS played a tad casual in game 4 in Houston when they could have closed it out. Instead they came home and won the western conference title at home to much fanfare. And uh, money.
I can only imagine that a home game in the NBA finals is a serious moneymaker. GS in 7. Trivia note: I'm wondering if they give out those yellow T shirts at every game. The sight of 98% of the audience wearing those is a bit weird for me.

Regarding T-shirts: Those shirts may be like the little white towels that they give out at Univ. of South Carolina football games. I used to find one here or there at the junkyard and thought they had some sort of value since they were particular to a certain football game. Then, my daughter pointed out that they hand those things out at all games plus if they had "value", they wouldn't be at the junkyard ... lol

Stephen Curry has shattered the old record of three-pointers in the playoffs. He's already at 95 (which seems insane if you think of it), but how many three-pointers is a 415-foot shot worth?
