A 15 Year Old is in the US Open
Coming from a state that had Tad Fujikawa and Michelle Wie be golf prodigies, I'm always interested in these stories. It should be great to watch this guy tee up against his idols. 15-Year-Old Cole Hammer Almost Brought To Tears On First Tee At U.S. Open [VIDEO] « CBS Detroit |

Have you seen the documentary The Short Game? It's about young golfers and it's well done and available on Netflix. I'm curious about this year's u.s. open as it's in my home state for a nice change.

Yes, I saw it on cable, the Esquire network. They also had a series about kids in karting (Kart Life) and also junior football (Friday Night Tykes). Pretty much the same, parents and kids acting like adults. Very little about the joy of the sport.

Man, he's tied at 91st position after the 1st round. Only the top 60 after two rounds advance to Saturday.
