thats worse than the 1991 300sl I saw today. It had sl600 badging, V12 badging on the side. ohh and sportline badging on the side next to the v12.

The crap looks like a pep boys rockerpanel tape delivery truck exploded on the car... to complete his car, I think 13" wire daytons and hydraulics would really spruce that puppy up... :) LOL

ohh and I don't know whats worse, the fact that he could butcher an SL or the fact that it appears he also has a 928. Also If you noticed, he obviously doesn't use Mercedes Benz Antifreeze. Note the bottle of Zerex in the background?

there is no way you could ever really fake an sl600 with a 300sl. Just put your footsie on the gas and well, you will instantly be able to tell the difference...

I drove my dads sl600 to the mechanic today, and I just love that v12. So smooth, yet so ferocious. :)

it doesn't have limo tint all around which means it's not a real pusher/pimpmobile. it's just plain old BAD TASTE! AUUGHHHHH!!!

Speaking about badging, here is another one that made me cry !

I would like to share my pain with you guys ! :(

I have planes to rebage the BMW someday after a V8 goes into it
but havent made mind up on a small 350 (or 305) badge or just the SS. What ever it is it must be black and red.

The only badging I want to apply to my car is maybe an I6 on the side aka like the v12 on the side of the sl600. :)

But seriously...

I prefer just the star on the back and front thank you. :)

I only have one set of badges that I'm going to install on one of my vehicles. This one is the Samurai, and it will be the small red "Turbodiesel" badge that resides below the 3/4 and 1 ton designators on the Dodge trucks. I will be installing these directly below the "Samurai" badge on the front fenders - after the 1.9L VW Turbodiesel engine is installed in place of the squirrel cage that now passes for an engine. :D

Hey Ted, keep your eyes open for a slver 97 E320 running around madison with "400E" badge on the back. It's not even like a 210 emblem either, it's like a 124 chassis emblem with the chrome underlining the numbers=400E .
