Rain rain go away

We have been getting so much rain around here that:
1. Rivers creeks and ditches are constantly overflowing....for the last month or so.
2. Bottom land crops are ruined.
3. I understand even the non flooded acreage crops are in danger of having their roots rotted off.
4. Lots of mosquitos to go along with the usual chiggers of summer. At least we don't have no see ums up here....at least not yet, but with climate change I suppose we will eventually get them.

My fingers are all wrinkly from all the rain.

Yikes!

I suppose its better than drought.

wish we had some, here in north east tenn. we are low about 3 inches. Are lawns have dead places in them.I think america and other large countries should have better water managment.Lets say some of this extra water could be pumped to drier areas.Like the famous canal systems they thought they saw on Mars. You know populations have increased in areas. It seems no one has thought of building more resisvors.Hotter areas should think of some way storing water underground.

I'm sorry to report that here we're at the start of what the Dutch seem to think is a heat wave. Half of the expected rain fall fell in June.
