Random parts falling off the car

I was changing the oil in the Corolla today, and this thing fell into the oil drain pan. I have no idea what it is. The car drives fine without it.

Maybe it read a book on Colin Chapman or something.

Looks like a body mount part. Lose a few more and fly

Look where the body used to be bolted to the frame or unibody supports something.

Try a dedicated Corolla forum perhaps? They know the cars better, I would think.

That looks like the gimbal balancer bushing. Very important and expensive to fix. Its tied into the blinker fluid so you had better get it fixed

I liked the Colin Chapman reference. My first thought on reading the title was this has something to do with a Lotus Europa.

And just guessing here, but...

That looks like a hose connection for connecting two hard plastic hoses. Or perhaps it fits under the air cleaner and is connected to the PVC valve or something like it?

Or by the table cloth it may be a part from the Pizzarias oven. Try tasting it, that may help figuring it out.

So someone on the Toyota forums says that it's a dynamic damper for the motor mount. My taste-test seems to back that up. Now I just need to figure out where it goes...

Yeah, I was posting it here for the humor value more than for wisdom... .
