Data source for (classic) auto auction results?

Does anyone know of a source of data sets that accumulate and append classic car auction results? I found one via google search but I'm wary of the site.

I am a data analytics guy by profession and I'd like to create some predictive modeling for fun (non-commercial, though if it turns out well who knows but that changes things). I'm not looking for a site where I search a specific year make and model car and turns results, I'm looking for a downloadable db of hundreds of thousands or millions of records upon which to create complex machine-learning modeling. I also don't expect such a service to be free, so paid is ok. Anyone know of such a thing? Maybe some dealer services?

"sports car market" has a site you can join which may have what you are looking for.

Become a member of mecum auctions and you can see their auction result data by make and model. Doesn't cost anything other than almost daily emails with their new cool consignments.

Hagerty Insurance does send out emails as to auction results. Don't know if they are as detailed as you want. They also have a data base that gives values of collector cars. Not sure what it is based on. I talked with one guy and he had some type of book, that gave similar results. Hagerty's does graph the cost of a particular model over so many years. See, what the trend in price is.
I looked at a 67 Mustang convertible for someone. It did list the prices by sub models, such as engine type, convertible, GT etc. Gave a price also as to condition.

The data is definitely out there, it is more a matter of getting my hands on an export. A make/model/year lookup of values helps the average 67 mustang buyer but it doesn't help me at all.

75Sv1 comment x2. Hagerty's weekly email has a lot of graphs and charts. Whether they will divulge where their source data came from is another question.
