The Volvo Concept Estate Is An Unfathomably Gorgeous Shooting Brake

Just an observation, like all concepts, the interior seems to be designed for runway models, not the average person. The flat floor design is great for any cargo conscious owner, but I suspect that if it's built, its not going to appeal to any cargo haulers.

You're treading on my dreams, dude. ;)

I'll keep my 245 Thank you!

Yes it's a looker, but as an estate it doesn't seem to be quite practical as its predecessors.

I like the V60 that Volvo sells. Their plug-in hybrid version has been around in Europe for the last 2-3 years and that got me looking at their brand. I think this new one will be sold as the V90 in 2016 or 2017 and will eventually come with a plug-in hybrid version as well.

The interior on the V60 is gorgeous. Going between a V60 and an E63 wagon made realize how cheap and poorly built new Mercedes interiors are. Honestly some of the plastics on the E63s interior look like they're lifted straight out of a 10 year old KIA Rio. That V60 on the other hand...

Exterior OK, interior reminds me of an 18' fishing/sking boat I had 30 years ago, if there was a bench seat in back. Why integrate drive component cover hold down with passenger seat restraint or am I missing something? As far as exterior being OK, according to another thread if a new vehicle looks good when new it is already outdated. BTW I am starting to like the W140s (thanks to Tyler) recently so you can take my taste's with a grain of salt.
