What Happens When MBUSA Moves to Georgia

Mercedes-Benz acquires naming rights to Atlanta Falcons' new stadium, report says | NOLA.com

That means the Falcons and the Saints might be playing in stadiums with near-identical names. That might make for some confusion when the two teams face off twice a year.

Aren't they moving from Jersey? Atlanta to me would seem to be either a lateral move or possibly even an improvement.

Better weather and better cost of living that's for sure. Especially if they keep their current salaries.

The climate in Atlanta sucks. However, the cost of living is relatively low, and they have no end of good food there.

MBUSA is losing a lot of talent when the move is done. From what I've been told only a couple hundred people are making the move from NJ. If any PP members in the Atlanta area are looking for a new job this would be a good time to polish up the resume'.

The Montvale area is among the most expensive parts of NJ to live, but I'm not sure how it compares to Atlanta. FWIW, Gov. Christie was prepared to do whatever it took to keep them in NJ, but the deal fell through. They agreed on the money part of it but NJ said MBUSA would have to move from Montvale to Camden!!! (not a very nice place)

^ I applied for a position with them a year or so ago and in hindsight I'm glad it didn't work out. That said, I would work in Camden without too much thought (aside from an annoying commute from my area) I definitely have wouldn't want to live there.
