My understanding is they do, sometimes in a panic braking situation the 3rd brake light flashes rapidly to alert those in the back (if they are paying attention).

If not then that'll be a test of the angular rear body work design against whatever kind of car design is in the back...

cars are nice, but im really a truck guy, and the opposite is true about the pickups-GM in particular.:( They decided they would push the brick.
