Suing 8 Year Old for Exuberance
8-year-old Westport boy on trial for exuberance - Connecticut Post
This is a personal injury lawsuit, with homeowner's insurance proceeds at stake. No doubt, the insurance company made an offer which was rejected by the injured woman and the case is now before a jury, who undoubtedly knows that it's insurance money at stake. |

“I was at a party recently, and it was difficult to hold my hors d’oeuvre plate,” she said.
Doesn't she know that's what servants are for?

Aunty lost.
Aunt loses $127,000 suit against 8-year-old nephew who jumped into her arms | Fox News The six-member panel took only 25 minutes to deliberate Jennifer Connell’s suit against Sean Tarala, who is now 12, ultimately ruling unanimously in the boy’s favor, the Post reported. They must have really hated her. 25 minutes to choose a foreperson, read the questions on the special verdict form (typically five or so questions) and a unanimous vote on the first question of liability (which means that they don't have to answer the rest) and then call the bailiff. |
