Used TDIs out the wazooo

I just bought a used TDI wagon from a VW dealer in November, he had maybe five or six on the lot. Two weeks later They've got 19, today they have THIRTY used TDI vehicles. I can't believe people are dumping these things because of the emission thing that really doesn't effect anything/anybody except the poor bastards in California and maybe a few other states.

Around here, I still haven't seen prices go down much. I'd like a TDI...not that I have the money for one.

As an investment specialist, heres your opportunity to take some of your much described wealth and pick up a bunch of TDIs to resell when the scandal has passed. Money money money!

Get an ALH. Less bells and whistles anyway, and a couple grand gets you a decent one

He may be buying them from other dealers to corner a market eventually. TDI content at my local dealer is about the same here.

my 2011 JSW TDI is about to turn 200k miles in less than 300 miles, still chugging flawlessly. Don't understand those people who dump those TDI's away, they are great cars... what a shame.

Does it qualify as a market if they only sold three of them?

I'd be very happy with one, that's what my moms car has and its cranking away like its brand new. Unfortunately for me a hybrid makes a lot more sense than a diesel but there's math to go back and forth for me. Moot point until I pay for this dang wedding.
