There is some truth to the thought. Actually I was thinking that if we get enough solar panels out there generating electricity it should cool the planet.

Typical NIMBY crap I run into it all the time. They just don't want it and are reaching for reasons to fight it. I'm surprised they didn't say the panels were going to cause rivers! I mean RIVERS! of rain run off and wash away their houses.


If I remember correctly though solar is a federal mandate, I know they cannot stop you from adding it to your roof. This might be the same thing. The developer might just have to sue the town and to get it.


If the developer is a real ball breaker maybe throw an affordable housing application in as well for that same parcel.


People general hate development if its around them or in their area, but they LOVE the results.
