Anybody who bought a TDI can go to the website, punch in their vin and have the "GoodWill" pack mailed to them. Then you have to go to the dealer with the pack, the car and the registration to activate the cards. $500 VISA and $500 dealer credit. VW stated on there web page this does not mitigate any law suits against VW.

Im pretty sure you have to have owned the car when the scandal broke, including dealers as impacted owners.

For instance private party sales since the scandal where you bought a TDI you wouldnt be able to get the package, but if like drago you bought from a dealer they can extend you the benefits of package.
