Thank you for posting those. Looks like marketing was more focused on the male back then. Now it is how many colors can we print on a disposable package.

Not to many women GAS or notice about what is going down the road. Proven fact, a woman's eyes are attracted to colorful packaging. I remember driving to SandyEggo CA at sixteen years of age, without studying company logos seeing various mostly Coors trucks Cab over Pete's, and other nicely decorated beverage trucks. Ask your wife sometime when you see a truck coming in the opposite direction what that carriers name is. Not being a truck driver unconsciencely doing it I notice most of the semi's that are seen often on the road. Advertising is all about catching the target buyers eye often.

I see a number of those pics are from Milwaukee -- I wonder how many were the work of industrial design genius Brooks Stevens. https://www.google.com/search?q=%22brooks+stevens%22&biw=1242&bih=621&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiClbmc9rjKAhXJ6x4KHbmCA4YQ_AUIBygC&dpr=1.1

The only ones left easoly obtainable may be some devco milk vans. They built a lot of them as I use to see them almost everywhere in the day.

There is one of those milk/bread vans at a shop in town that builds rat rods. It seems like you could really make a neat vehicle out of one if you had a donor 240D. Hey, I have a couple of donor, euro 240D's.
