How good is your color vision?
http://www.xrite.com/online-color-test-challenge
I scored a 48 the first time and 30 the second (perfect score is zero). Not sure how big a part monitor quality plays. I could have sworn I aced it both times. |
Geeze that looks like a lot of work :)
|
A larger color calibrated display would go a long way to helping but nearly everyone has color deficiencies.
|
I would not even try it.
|
I got a 23 on a Dell Inspiron laptop... yea.
|
60 below average I think.

Must have been the monitor working for me. Got a 10.
I have absolutely no color sense. When I go to a paint store I have to find a woman and ask her if colors match. |
I've always scored reasonably well on this one; kinda surprised that I snagged a "perfect" this morning.

Who said that?

64 but I did it with those blue blocker glasses on after three good whiskeys at midnight so...

I got a 16 on my first try. Good enough that I won't do it again... :)
|
Took a little while, but...a 34.
I think a lot of the guessing has to do with the quality of the monitor you're using...I might try this later, back at work... |
got a 38 with my Dell flat panel.
When I worked at the paper, we went on a kick for a short time of wanting the monitors adjusted to reflect what something would look like on our newsprint. Sent me around calibrating monitors with a machine set up to do just that. Thought I was gonna be tarred and feathered! Fact is, not much looks good on newsprint. |
