Angry birds

I'm desperate for a solution to this problem. There's a group of robins that are bashing their brains out on my picture windows. During mating season, they see their reflections in the glass and think they are seeing rival birds. They spend the entire day doing battle against the enemy. It's not only disturbing, they leave an incredible mess. blood, feathers, bird poop. So far no broken windows, but I can see where that's coming. Any ideas?

I have killed, cooked and ate a lot of robins. Best way to cook them is to boil the breast meat for about 4 min, then cover in a spice mix of your choice, then cook them on the grill on little sticks.

They won't break your window. Try not to think about it. Put on the radio. Take a nap. You get the idea.

I've heard of a film that one could apply without any visual distortion to the human, sorry I can't recall where I read about it. This could go on for a while, could be worth a google search.

Shutters? Not the fixed, decorative ones, but the working kind.

Make the inside brighter than the outside and they will not see a reflection. Shine a light out the window from inside.

The actual reason for their behavior is they think they are flying into a cave.

And a cave would be a great place to make a nest.
