I have another nice one located in Fort Wayne. It seems a lot of people like me are buying back identical cars to what they turned in.

I have been tempted to pick a 15 golf sportwagen up at the sale. The TDIs are flowing like wine at the vw financial sale. Fixed and certified with extended warranty. They can be bought at a good price

No, those fintail wagons were built by Binz in Holland(?) seems like. Very very rare. I did own two fintails back in the day though, a 61 220b and a 62 190c. Both were very good driving cars but had enough rust to get splashed (inside the car) sometimes if going through a big puddle.

the 62 had a big ivory steering wheel....loved steering it with that.

Looks like I'm gonna buy a benz wagon. Unfortunately with an automatic and gas engine. It's very clean though.

Is it an E350? If so, is the engine number outside the range affected by the balance shaft issue? If within the range, does the seller have paperwork demonstrating it has been replaced? It is an expensive repair.

It is an e350. Do you have the range that is effected? Was it a warranty item?

Just searched and it seems 2008 models and newer are ok. This car is an 09 model.

Thanks for asking!

Great. As a 2009, it should be well outside the range. I got confused by your earlier post where you mentioned a 2007 Benz wagon....

Good luck with the wagon. I have had a w211 wagon for around 10 years now. They are nice driving cars, although I have to say I'm not as enamored with the w211 as some on this board. Biggest ticket repair items were transmission valve body (electronics issue), rear air shock bellows, and the intake flap issue. In general, the car has held up well. My wife drives it and her friends always think it's a much newer car than it is.

Today I drove (and drove and drove and drove) down to Noblesville and drove a Porsche Cayenne diesel. It looks very nice, the seats are fantastic and it drives very nice but all the electric gadgets are really scary to think of having to fix if broken.
