What WAS that?
This may be a stupid question, but on my way to work this morning I passed an E-class coupe, and what I saw out of the corner of my eye caused me to slow down and let the car pass me so that I could make sure I saw what I saw on the trunk. What was a 320CE? It was the number "2" that threw me. A 3.2 litre power mill?
From all appearances, the car was in perfect shape, although I've never liked gold-plated badges (and gold-colored stars on the wheels) on any car.

Back home in Indonesia, they did sell the '93 300E (3.2L) as the 320E and same with the 220E (2.2L 16V engine).
I bet they did sell the 320CE as well.

Using a Google search, I found references to 320CE MBs in Australia, UK, Germany, Sweden, etc. (Even references to a 220CE!). So maybe that was a gray market import?
