Smile BenzE's heritage revealed!

He' a POODLE !!. Or at least a Peekapoo with all the hair removed that didn't look like a Poodle.

He's gotten bigger, and looks like a real character.

Fwiw, I liked him better without the foo foo haircut.

I liked it better too, but he was HOT!! He had a hard time swimming with all that wet hair too. I'll let it grow long again this fall.

He may have been hot before, but he's probably hotter now.

It kinda sounds counter-intuitive, but my vet told me that it is a misconception that giving a dog a haircut makes them cooler.

Dogs don't sweat, so they dissipate heat through their hair, and by panting.

As for the hair getting in the way of swimming, I'll let you be the judge of that.

I'm no expert so I can't say for sure, but he certainly got a lot more active after the trim!! He's like a bolt of lightning now. Before the trim he would lay around on the ceramic tile and pant!!. But he's so funny, he's still a clumsy puppy and he'll run into the kichen but can't stop till he skids into something. LOL. I love dogs. It's like my wife said, "your dog will always be happy to see you, unlike a wife!" Loubapache; thanks for the picture. That's gonna be a show dog!!

Are those dogs related? The resemblance is amazing.

Yeah, I'm a dog lover, too. We have a little weenie dog that we're crazy about. Just like a little child.

Howdy cap,
That "field/puppy" cut is a lot easier to take care of. If the little guy likes to get out and run through the bushes you'll be glad you have it cut that way

Yep! That's been a MAJOR improvement. We live in the country and have lots of pine straw that he loves to roll in. He stays a lot cleaner now! Also , he was starting to shed and it helped that too.

Hey, happy birthday!

What a coincidence. It's my wife's birthday today, too.

It was mine on Monday, but I guess nobody noticed...

Thanks for the best wishes! I'm sorry I missed your birthday, Paul!! JCE and I have discovered that if we just look at "Todays active threads" then you miss seeing the birthdays at the bottom. I'm gonna make it a point to look there first from now on! It's been a good day except for having to work! I wouldn't let me take off!

My wife's dog

My wife was looking over my shoulder and saw your dogs, got jealous and wanted a pic of her pup displayed. Dax's color is changed about every 3 or 4 months, but she's naturally white also.
