spark plug selection experts?

Hi. I had my race car engine rebuilt and unfortunately my favorite machinist discarded my old plugs and I don't know what they were.

Its a 2002 acura K20a2 motor with 13.5 compression, moderate cams and built to run on E85. It of course has a header and a low restriction muffler.

Wondering how different they might need to be compared to stock?

Is there a website out there for calculating what plug to use?

Thanks Sid!

I did find a couple of sets of used plugs in my spares. I'll start there tomorrow.

I did some more searching and the consensus seems to be to use stock plugs. So I'll start there.

Us old farts don't hear pre-ignition rattle like we used to. Take some readings on the plugs.

It has a knock detection system too. But I'll be checking the plugs too.

Thanks for the comment!

Maybe take a set each of the next one or two cooler levels, just in case you do have issues you can swap them out while there? Can't see it running cooler and needing warmer plugs.

Probably an idea with merit.

I once heard "expert" defined as "a person who knows 10% more than 40% of the population".
