Introduction? Oh, I bought another 300d!
Hello to all!! I used to get great information from this forum when I had my first 300d ('80). That car is long gone but I recently picked up a very nice 1984 300d with 183k miles. The car has been lowered so much that I'm scared to drive it so if anyone knows where I can get a set of coils let me know. The car also has a problem shifting, gotta check the modulator valve.
I'm 21 now, live in Alabama and am pretty good with anything with a motor. I'm in college for mechanical engineering and have a very small YouTube channel Not sure what else to put here but feel free to ask me questions and I'll try to get some pictures up soon. I honestly couldn't find an introduction section so please move it if I'm in the wrong area. |

Welcome to Peachparts! For springs, you can check out the used parts section and put a request up if you don't find what your are looking for; otherwise, PelicanParts carries them. Check them out here:
1984 Mercedes-Benz 300D Base Sedan - Suspension, Shocks & Springs - Page 1 I can vouch for the quality of Lesjöfors; have no experience with Bilstein but their shock absorbers are second to none for a factory ride.
