Yes, you're right. No injuries whatsoever (except for the poor car, of course). Is says in the pictures that the driver, plus both passengers walked out of the car without a scratch. At least that's what I think it says. I'm no expert in the German language :-)

You have to love it. Flip the car and it still looks half decent.

Now thats a sign of good MB engineering! Hopefully a 2003 would be in the same shape if the same thing happened to it!

I just wish this happened to the car next to the MB in the garage instead of the MB.

I would not be surprised if it still runs

In this part of the country they would put it back upright, keep driving it and pocket the insurance check .

Looks like it's ready to go back out tomorrow considering what happened. These cars amaze me.

One thing that equally shocked me in the other direction was the damage done to Princes Diana's (500?) in the tunnel. I thought it would be real hard to die in one of those if you know what I mean. To me it was like saying superman (the car, if you will) got his ass kicked. I really thought you could run those into anything and come out ok.

Go through the pics and look at #20. What the heck is that ugly polka-dotted thing in the back ground??? Did they take the car to Bozo's Bondo Emporium and Clown Car Rental, Inc.?

Yes, the pillarless coupe did well for landing on it's roof. Do you think it went up then back down the grassy area, or was that another road up above that it left and then came straight down the hill? Either way, that's a solid passenger cage. I wonder how fast they were travelling? Ya know, if these old Benz's had drink holders for you beer then this kind of thing would not happen!

Hi TANK,

Supposedly Princess Diana's car was travelling at VERY high speed, and struck an immoveable object. A very different, and much less survivable, type of accident.

Not wearing the seatbelt!! I believe she would have lived then if wearing one. This is very sad. I always wear mine and make sure my wife does as well. they truely save lives.
