I have a fractured elbow... but

I was at the orthopedic doctor yesterday because I thought I might have sprained my knee. 6-8 weeks he says. Anyway, I also fell on my elbow about 6 weeks ago and it was still sore. He checked it out and said I had a fracture, but it was a stable kind of fracture so no need for a cast or anything. I'm like.. huh? I've never heard of this before, but I guess I'm functioning normally with only a little stiffness and pain so I guess I'll just keep going. Weird...

That is because he fractured his elbow thru rapidly hoisting oversize mugs before the closing bell! (Guinness Elbow, in medical terms, aka repetitive mug syndrome!)

Kuan, interesting fact upto about 15 years ago,British NHS hospitals used to provide every resident patient with a free can of guinness.Unfortunately this practice has been discontinued,it did however guarantee your friends coming to visit you in hospital!!Just goes to show guinness is good for you Bear
