March madness!
I just watched the first half of Purdue playing a very motivated Iowa state team. I have to say it was Purdue's best half yet this year.

The Big Ten has shown up in a big way for this tournament. In addition to Purdue, Wisconsin and Michigan have done well as they are all in the round of 16. I don't know how well Michigan State will do against Kansas. Kansas has given away several games in prior tournaments when it was a high seed. Maybe there is hope for Mich. State.

Kansas beat Michigan state today. Kansas is a very talented and disciplined team. I believe we are down to three big ten teams in the sweet sixteen. Hopefully a couple can go all the way to the championship game. I believe Purdue plays Kansas next.

Several conferences have three teams: they are the Big Ten; the Big Twelve; the SEC; and the Pac 12. The Big East has two and the ACC and the WCC each have one. There is a big geographic distribution in the final 16. Good basketball is played in every part of the country.
