Would you buy this Mercedes SLR 722 S Roadster for $745,000?

Only 150 of the Mercedes SLR 722 S Roadster were ever produced. This rare Roadster contains a supercharged 5.4L V8 that produces 640HP with a top speed of around 208MPH. It is equiped with a 5 speed automatic transmission and can exceed 60MPH in 3.6 seconds. Luckily for you, one is for sale in Saudi capital of Riyadh for $745,000 with only 13,670 miles on it. Would you purchase it if you could? Share your thoughts with us below.

Only if they agree to take the silly sticker off the front bumper. If not, I'm taking the $800k I don't have somewhere else.

If I had $1 million burning a hole in my pocket, sure, why not. The SLR has been one of my favorite MB's since it came out.

A new Corvette ZO6 automatic has 3 more gears in it's gearbox, and can match the stated performance numbers of the SLR in question, all while costing 1/8th the price. I can buy the ZO6, a new S65 cabriolet, a S63 sedan. and a G63 for bad-weather days, and still have some coin left over.

Hearing the techs that work on them talk about them, you'd have a hard time giving the SLR away.

No. Even if I had the money to waste, I'd spend it on a bunch of real Mercedes classics' from the golden era. This thing hold's no fascination for me whatever.
