He had some great songs. Before he made it big he was known for his excellent guitar playing.

RIP Glenn Campbell.

There are guitar players. And there's Glenn Campbell.

Okay, here is a trivia question for you. What major band of the sixties included Glenn Campbell on tour for a time?

Yep, when Brian Wilson started dealing with personal issues, Glenn toured with the band. I think that this was about '66 or '67.

One of those great talents that many of us mere mortals don't really appreciate while they're still around..... then we start hearing the stories from other great talents, pointing out just how big an influence they were.

Alice Cooper talks about Glen Campbell

Now that a few days have gone by I will point this out.

Glenn Campbell introduced Tanya Tucker to drugs. Messed her up pretty bad. He did almost the same to her as Bobby Brown did to Whitney Houston except by the grace of God Tanya Tucker is still alive.

Yes, Alzheimer's is a terrible scourge. My mother in law went down with it. A horrible thing

Glen and Ann Murray who has a cottage up the road. Where shopping at the local vegetable stand where I was years ago. Glen looked very self contained and isolated that day. At least to me. He spoke to nobody and seemed in kind of a daze. Was even visually aging somewhat even back then. Perhaps just trying to stay in the background if involved in extra curricular activity. .

I still have Ann Murrays old 300d 1977 Mercedes I believe. Did not realize it once was hers until I had owned it for some time. I have wondered if a serious Ann Murray fan might be interested in it. Strong car for a n/a version.

The few times I noticed her in the area she was driving maybe a late 80s or early 90s Mercedes SL. Have not seen her in years but she still goes to her local cottage I believe.
