Remove/Install PCB Power Relay
I have a gate opener I'm trying to fix. The Receiver has a power relay on its Printed Circuit Board(PCB).
Part # OMRON G5LE-112P-R-P5 I need to replace this relay. Having viewed this type of relay on the WEB I see that the prongs(my term) that fit the relay to the board are quite narrow and they've been in this board for awhile. Does this type of relay pull out straight like an automotive relay in the main fuse box? Thanks for your time. |

I imagine they are soldered to the board unless you can see a socket under the cube... Some solder wick and some gentle persuasion may be the procedure.
