Me too. I've always liked the Tiger. I'd take a 260 too for that matter.

Is that a Studie? It'll make a great toy hauler, but not for me! I'm a pickup pulling a trailer kindof fellow.

Here are pics of the Cobra being loaded. Sorry I cannot figure how to rotate the pics.

There is a lovely restored COE over on the Studebaker forum. Nice grill.

Today the driver of the truck called me and talked about delivering on Sunday instead of Saturday. I said it was fine. Then he started talking about getting paid for the delivery. I told him I had already paid. He talked some more and asked how much I had paid. I told him. Then he started talking more about checking to see if I had and on and on....I hung up on him. He called two more times in the next 20 minutes and I did not answer.

I went to my computer and emailed the dealer I bought the Cobra from and said please take care of it.

By the end of the day he said it was all set.

Hope so because I'm making a place in my garage for it tomorrow!

I had a similar experience with a regular household moving van line. The truck showed up on time, but the drive said the move was only to the address, not everything inside, I forgot how much, but they said for say an extra $400.00 cash they were willing to move it all inside. I said there goes your $250.00 tip, that I had in my pocket for them, and pulled it out and showed them. Now call your boss and tell him what an Ahole he is or what a Ahole you are. When you get that resolved you can complete the move that was paid for in advance.
More than likely your driver was trying to pull a fast one, thinking hey an exotic vehicle going long distance, they have $$ and lets see what I can scam them on.

I thought so.

The fellow had what sounded like a Russian Accent so I figured he was one of Vlad's operatives, or a Trump supporter at least.

If you see any Trump/Pence 2020 signs in your neighborhood after Sunday, you know how they got there. I would also carefully check the vehicle over before signing off on the delivery. Could the driver in spite of you calling him out put something in the tank or intake brake line etc. to do damage?

I guess he could. Seems unlikely though. He has a job to do going forward, presumably.

It seems from what I was told by my dealer that there was some mixup on the trucking broker's part.

I plan to give the driver a substantial tip once the car is in my driveway unmolested.

I would say a $75.00 tip would be substantial tip for loading and unloading a vehicle if you get it this Sunday. I hope all goes well, but did he happen to mention WHAT Sunday it would arrive?
