Click-now-on.me virus/adware
 

Anyone else get this Click-now-on.me crap on their computer? Annoying popups pushing pages. You X one out and another comes right up. That goes on 4 or 5 times. I've found some sites saying 'download this tool to get rid of it.' Hmmmm ... download something from some site I know nothing about. What could go wrong? ESET apparently doesn't take this away.

I use FF with popup blocker. No popups at all.

These are not ordinary pop-ups. It's a virus.

Not the way you describe it. Every now and then I will use explorer for what ever reason and I will stumble upon those. The way I understand it is that a virus is a program that installs on your computer. The popup windows you are referring to are just part of the web site. Its alike a macro program that is th3 n8ng on the site. Like pop up adds. Since I mainly use FF I rarely get any of these pop up adds prompting me to down load software to stop the pop ups.

I'm guessing if you run a popup blocker you probably will reduce the number of occurrences.

I use google adblock plus,and a kardashian filter,it allows me to add names like Jenner,and the word gay. I don't want that crap in my news.I don't care about famous sluts
