Man this is crazy

in feb.2015 I bought upper, and lower dentures for $350. Now one is $350. what the hell is going on? I broke my bottom, and super glue does not hold it long.Means I've given up on solid foods.

Oh well buying a dremel today. I will frist use playdough as its safe, and bite down ,and make a mold of gum. Then pour plaster in mold. Then use plaster mold to sit broken denture on,while I cut a groove, and attach bent metal to hold denture. Then finish with denture repair plastic. Then remove and use reline it,where it touches the gum.I'll be damned if I spend $220 to have it repaired.

playdough is the nasty stuff. But made my mold, plaster is drying now.As soon as hard I will, use to set denture in,and cement new plastic

Thanks to the ACA you can use the $2500.00/yr your saving on health care insurance, and put it towards the $350.00 purchase, and still have better than two grand to play around with.

saving's? well dremel works good, wish I bought one years ago.I fashioned some metal to hold it together.I will seperate playdough from plaster cast, and reline denture today.

I guess this is supposed to be funny. Its certainly not helpful to our fellow member.

alright cemented the metal in,now to reline,I buy reline it,at the drug store.Sand area, and clean with alcohol and dry. Then take liquid super glue, and wet area for liner, last longer that way. As you age with dentures the lower jaws, wears down. This cause's denture to dig in sides of gums, where cheek, and tounge are.Liner elevates the denture where it should be.And if like me bought the cheap plastic dentures, they hurt. The liner is flexible and makes them feel better.

Jeeze, this is awful Nate .

Trillions to give to war profiteers but can't take care of Citizens and Veterans ? .

BTW: " Didn't Geo Washington have wooden chompers? " no but his dentures _did_ have teeth fom folks not using them anymore......
