75 foot zip line

I want to make one for kids in my neighborhood, and grandson.
What do you think? weight limit? How big rope or cable?

A client of mine had one of those. I probably would not due to liability but it would be a cool thing to do. You'd be the coolest grandpa around!

My client bought a kit. He'll send later today.

Yep, liability. Had a kid knock out a tooth on ours. Homeowners insurance came through for us on that one!

My brother has one - you need 2 stout trees - and/or some kind of elevated platform to start from. Make it as long as you can. End the line close enough to the ground so that the riders will run aground before running into a tree. Some kits have a bungee-connected block that will give you a 'soft stop' - also a good idea.

I have 4 children currently aged 4 to 11 - they all LOVE going over to his house (have since I helped him put it up 7+ years ago). That zipline is still the star of his backyard. Id do it if I had a big enough yard.
