In an unprecedented show of unity, all living first ladies have issued statements opposing the Trump administration's policy of separating children from their families at our border....including mrs. Trump.

I am giving Melania kudos for this....along with Laura Bush who made the most detailed statement (I believe).

When the non-living ones start to chime in that will get my attention. Otherwise MEH.

Laura compared the New Manzanar camps to summer camps and boarding schools. Boarding schools? Sounds almost upper crust. I wonder if the boys are issued navy blue blazers with an embroidered school crest...

The flood of illegal immigrants is way beyond what went before. Would you prefer the children be lodged in the same jail cell as their parents? Would you prefer they just be turned out into the street?

Trumptards can't seem to understand that separating children from their parents is child abuse.

I hear now that they are trying to reunite the kids with their parents through dna samples.

I had been musing to the Mrs. how in the heck they are going to identify kids under five who carry no passport or drivers license.

This sort of rash action with no thought of the consequences is exactly what I feared when Trump won.
