Welcome to So. Cal. ! .

Every Saturday morning from 6 ~ 8AM there's an interesting gathering of GearHeads at the U.A . Movie theater underneath the 2 and 210 freeways .

? How long will you be here ? .

Rain is forecasted for next week .

One of the days I'll have 24 hour window to get from Carmel to Los Angeles area and plan on taking the PCH. Other than maybe the Hurst castle what else do you guys recommend doing along this route? Any "must see" items?

Some of the canyon roads just north of Malibu! Not a crazy detour but lovely scenery and great roads. Latigo canyon tends to be my favorite (great driving road) but there are lots of them. Pic is from when I was there a week before the fires.

Big Sur is a great place to explore, there are natural hot springs in Big Sur if that’s something you or you’d wife like. It’s a little hippie dippie, but very relaxing.

And if you’re still planning to visit one of the studio’s, I would go to Universal, I think it’s the most interesting of the bunch.

With all the rain we have in the last couple of weeks, the 1 is going to be a beautiful ride. Just came back from SF and everything is green and lush. Save travels!
