T shirt weather on the beach today:)
Ran into someone from work that retired and moved here-small world. I guess Nevada in not the only go to place for retirees trying to leave California. |
I'm so jealous, Tony. We've had the coldest night this winter where I am. Nevada sounds like heaven to me right now. haha

Pain & Weather
? is pain subject to barometric pressure ? .
I know my old joints hurt but I thought that was just me . My buddy in Wi. got -52* F ~ ouch  . I don't miss farm life one bit . |
Just got off the phone with my PA daughter. I had her BF go out and check the furnace vent for ice. He said he saw some, but not bad. I told him to watch it tomorrow (he's off work for the day) and keep a close watch on it. They have plenty of blankets, as well as a gas stove to heat the kitchen if the power goes out. They already know to open the window for ventilation if they have to resort to that til power comes back on.

Cold here on the east coast of Canada is usually the worse the very first week or two of January. I think this year it is extending into the next month.
Weather patterns change over the years. For about the last ten years. It has usually been worse in the north eastern American states than here. Even though they are south of us. Especially in snowfall. I even think some cold from the current polar vortex may be reaching out to our area in the next few days. We normally get one or two nights here that are extremely cold each year. They have not occurred yet this winter. |
Sorry to be the bearer of bad newz, but I am kickin' it's azz out of here and it might be going your way!
