My wife is a woman's health nurse practitioner, which means she has pretty much the same knowledge and job as an OB (but cannot do major surgeries like c-sections). Would you like me to have her email you? I wanted to check first because if it is something that truly requires an OB, I didn't want to waste your time or my wife's. Thanks.

Well wife, has been in terrible pain since 2014. No Doctor will listen to anything we ask.
One OBGYN made her have expensive surgery to instill a internal TENS device,to shock her lower regions.Did not work, another expensive botox in the bladder. Her pain intense burning, and pain,at end of uretha. She stays in bed 90% of the time for all these years. Yesterday I found the source of trouble, this morning experimented.Nerves that run to this area are called pudendal nerves. They start at hip area, and run to the uretha, and clitoris area. Some doctors can give a pain block, but shoot in the hip, causing no sensation in clit area.Affecting a woman's joy button. Knowing this I injected today with lidocaine 1/8" on each side of uretha.Same thing a Doctor who would research her problem would have. Instant relief. In the morning I will kill the nerve completely.should be pain free a couple of years. Now why in the hell her Doctor's would have looked this up?

Medicine for money does create problems. As even good universal care systems have theirs. Surveys tend to indicate this. Different systems different issues.
You are right though a good urologist should have possessed this knowledge. Without having to look it up. A gynecologist perhaps less so. That is a urinary tract problem primarily. That is really their specialty. |
