You seem like a pretty smart guy. What made you decide to give it a try? Had you heard from others a variety of pains and aches it worked on? Have you been in contact with other users? I imagine even you were quite surprised at the amount of relief it offered.

What has bothered me for years is rather than a help. It could possibly prevent other conditions developing with very small dosages. I do mean very small doses. Just a dab on the end of a wooden match for example taken daily.

Professional science seems to not be looking at this very hard. I am guessing the alternative treatment for your spine would have been steroids. The side effects of them are of course bad. Where there are none to my limited knowledge with what you are on now.

I had a friend suggest trying it for arthritis in my hand. I quit taking it for a few days and my back went to hurting badly enough that it was affecting my walking (slowing me down). I went back to taking it and pain went away but during that time I did go to the Dr and he x-rayed and said I had severe degenerative disc disease, lumbar spine, L5 - S1 and Gr1 - 2. The lovely Ms engatwork knew exactly what that meant (orthopedic nurse in large hospital for 34 years) and I have an idea since googling it. I am going to go to a doctor and have an MRI next Monday but since getting back on the CBD I'm only experiencing pain if I get myself in certain positions while in the shop. Mostly while trying to get to certain areas under a dashboard.

I've been suffering chronic pain since the 1970's and would love to get relief .

Some time back I tried Glucosamine & Chondroitan Sulfate (? SP ?) on the advice of mom's doctor, it worked great for her and a bit for me but in the end I had to get my neck fused, 8 screws and a titanium plate, now the pain is serious again, stopping me from working and so on .

Work your way up gradually in dosage. It is legal to grow the plants in Canada now. Only four per year though. I do not know the details if it is four per person or four per property.


In fact though before they legalized it many grew as many as eight plants with no interference. I am not a user but have heard peoples dosage tolerance varies.


The other night I was down in my son in laws back yard. He was not a user yet there where the four legal plants about 6 feet high there in the yard. So I asked him. He said they will be made into medicine and frozen in case some member of the extended family need it. There is enough growing season left the plants should finish off at around eight feet.

We can't use that around here. He ain't worried about it "going bad"?

Some people deify weed. Call it sacrament. I think it can be useful for relaxing one's POV but it can easily be overdone. I've known plenty of people who have gotten strung out on it. Leads to a lot of dreaming and idleness. Pipe dreams, modern version (the phrase began with opium).

In Oregon and WA one can buy really strong pre-roll for $5 apiece. In California it's more like $12 to $15. I've had some that's almost like hash. Just too strong.

The wife is adding product to your food? Actually I also liked his music as well. I took the wife to a concert he had forty miles away. Some years ago.

Do you remember the one where the lady was having tattoos of Elvis done on both her inner thighs? The tattoo artist when finished showed them to her with a mirror. She got very upset and said that they looked nothing like Elvis.

He asked a passing guy for a second opinion. As he felt they did look like Elvis. The gentleman said I do not recognize Elvis either. Yet I do recognize Willy Nelson in the middle .

Incidentally an effort of his I like is the CD where he plays other artists famous songs of the past. Someone may have also felt the same as it has gone missing. In my opinion he made it work well.

Like a lot of things in moderation is a rule. A legal rolled is 10.00. A rolled one with better quality is 15.00. Since legalization in Canada. I have no reason to try or use the product.

I think as I mentioned on a post elsewhere. When it went legal in Canada. The actual amount of users was far higher than what the estimates where. The legal outlets quickly sold out. I really think it surprised the authorities.

I bought the trial pack and SWMBO says it didn't help much at all .

We'll see .

My shoulder is killing me, I take 800Mg. of Ibuprofen, that helps .

I think I would like weed if I had the discipline to use it one day only, once or twice a year. These days I can at least buy a small amount. When it was illegal I'd usually buy 50 to 100 bucks worth of bud which would last me for a couple of weeks. If it's in the house, no self discipline. If it's not, I can avoid it for a while.

Lately I buy one of the lowest strength pre rolls, smoke it for a couple of days and flush the last third down the toilet. It just gives me a headache and the doldrums after the first day. Weird. I do sound a wee bit hooked, I get that.

Going to try to keep it to once every few months max. And one day only.

CBD only slightly better for me.
