I'm back! What did I miss?

It's been a million years (I'd guess a decade or more) since I've been on here and far too long since being in a benz I can actually do something with (two previous ones were leases, a GLK250 Bluetec and ML350). Used to go to the San Diego and LA meets with my old red '78 450SL, now in Sacramento with a '99 C280.

What has everyone been up to and what did I miss here? Last time I was here, it was just shifting over from mercedesshop.com to peachparts.com, so it's been a while. Anybody have tips for a new W202 owner? Already plan on buying a Bentley manual, but if there's any other must-haves, please let me know!

Not much-just 10 years older. A lot less vintage MB's around. I used to work in the East Bay a lot in the day. Met my wife in Martinez, worked for Contra Costa county for a while.

Thumbs up WELCOME HOME

Older, slower and many DieselHeads have gone away .

The blush went flying off the Diesel rose about the same time you left .

Totally forgot to update that... in Sacramento these days (had a 4 year venture into Washington, but the clouds/rain and long winter nights is wearing). Makes me cry when I look at what our Dublin townhouse is worth now... cry even worse when I look at the house in Mountain View that I grew up in.
