Father's Day Car Show
Took the kids to the annual Father's Day Car Show today and had a great time. The only disappointment was that this year there was only one Benz entered. I couldn't even bring myself to take a picture of it because it had been riced out .
I also noticed that this year there seemed to be more of the ricers and less of the classics (my favorites). Still a strong showing of 50's and 60's rods and muscles. The import section had some nice E Type Jags and a couple Minis and a new modern London Taxi. I want to share a couple pics of what was, to me, the best looking ride at the show. A beautiful 1933 Pierce Arrow 12cyl. Solid burl dashboard Definitely had one of the most elegant hood ornaments. And as we were leaving, the Pierce just happened to be ahead of us. As luck would have it, they were going the same way, so I just had to follow along and enjoy the view of this beauty as it gracefully navigated it's way to the Interstate. Maybe next year I will have to make sure there is at least one old Benz at the show, by entering the 4.5 .

What great pics! Thanks for sharing, and Happy Father's Day! Next year maybe you will win a trophy to celebrate this day.
