don't celebrate no more, was my daughter's day of birth. 7500 year old heathen custom condemded in the old testament, for cutting tree's,and putting gold, and silver. To ward off evil for tonite's, shortess night.

Yes the time seems to be running down very quickly. I wish everyone well.

It seems we will have snow here of some amount to cause concerns. The day after Christmas. So those few that will be arriving from a distance will probably not stay overnight. For boxing day departures.

At our ages it has changed a little. The opportunity for a get together for Christmas dinner seems to prevail. With the family. The wife has been out shopping all morning with a daughter for their last minute stuff. They left in the daughters car. At least it has a much smaller internal volume than her car.

The New Years day dinner is open to all.

I have even decided on a new years resolution I can keep..

Smile Holidayze

My son asked me to come by for breakfast the 26th, I'll be happy to do so .

He usually spends Christmas Eve with his mother because that's her custom, no need to change it now .

I don't make new years resolutions after watching how most make grand, foolish and obviously going to fail resolutions then are surprised...

Not getting a sweet young thing preggers sounds achievable .

I am also sorry for people essentially alone over the hoidays. Or in real difficulty at this time of year. Twenty eight hundred people locally and regionally found out they will lose their jobs yesterday. Sad news going into the holidays for them and their families.

Post Scary

No one else seems to have the holiday spirit and that's sad .

I gave a polite bum at the Post Office $ yesterday and was going to give my coffee change to another at 7-11 this morning but the owner said 'please don't, he's obviously a healthy young man who chooses not to work '......

Merry Christmas to everyone!

Three daughters, their husbands and nine Grandchildren ranging from second year of life to second year of college are here for Christmas. One daughter lives on the other side of the creek from here while the other two came from afar. Santa came during the night so we are a few hours From pandemonium. A friend had seen all the cars a few days ago and asked if it was organized chaos at our house. My answer was “no, it’s not organized.”

I hope and pray that you all find peace in some way during this Christmas season.

Thumbs up Shopping All Done !

I did the last of mine Monday morning .

I got my Sweet a new set of custom Lloyd mats for her gray market 300TD and some stuff for my grand kids who it looks like I won't get to see because my son's an anti - vaxxer so he's sick with the flu as is my 1 year old grand son.....

He's missed a whole week of work so far, I hope they all get better soon .

Cold driving rain forecasted for Los Angeles, I'm letting the foster boys and our great grandson stay up playing games as late as they want so my Sweet can sleep late to - morrow, she had a bad fall and got some crud in her eye that turned into pink eye .

At least the local 7-11 will be open so I can get out for some coffee.... .

Is there a 24 hour Walmart nearby? Whoops, I just remembered Christmas is the only holiday Walmart is closed. At least in this part of the country. Do you not have a good old fashioned bimetallic one?

Unhappy Damn BATTERIES !

I learned that several of the toys need new batteries or to be charged at least 12 hours before use, of course no one told me this else they'd have been ready to go this morning .

The boys are over the moon with their new toys and games and even beginning to like their new clothes .

I got new socks ! .

Walgreen was my salvation. We had a small houseful yesterday. A friend gave us a fantastic beef prime rib which the Mrs. cooked to perfection. After dinner the kids and the Mrs. played charades. We'll be having all the kids and grandkids in on Saturday then a gathering with my siblings and nieces and nephews and their little ones on Sunday in Kalamazoo.

We had the prime rib yesterday that was also a gift from a friend. Another friend gave us a turkey that I put in the freezer at the hangar because the freezer at home is full. I am going to go thaw the turkey in the next few days to get ready for New Years. Sometime after that I will thaw the Pheasant and quail that have accumulated in the hangar freezer and have a hunters feast. Have had some really productive hunts this year and the season isn’t over yet.

I gain weight just thinking of it all.
