I have never been a big fan of spicy food. Looks quite tasty though.
We have a local burger joint here called Mixed up Burgers. Kind of a hole in the wall joint (the best kind) and they have a burger called the "Love Burger". Ham, pineapple & provolone cheese mixed into the patty. Drizzled with a teriyaki glaze and served on a toasted glazed doughnut. Yea, a doughnut. Mmmmmmm good. The also have Grilled cheese with tomato and basil burger. A 1/3 pound patty mixed with American cheese, topped with two tomato slices & fresh basil served between two gooey grilled cheese sandwiches. I love this place.

Cajun Food & Etc.
Wow ! that first post gets me ~ I love Cajun foods, they're not always blistering hot, spicy can be a good thing sans heat .
That 'love burger' sounds scrumptious too, sadly I've not had a hankering for a burger in over a year, that's sad but prolly healthier . In Arizona there's a place called the "Heart Attack Grill" that was maybe good once but rather sucked when I went by a few years ago . I love my gumbo, etuffe (SP) and things like that too .

I hate to admit it, I have to restrain myself from popping in to Carl's, Jr and getting one of their bacon-guacamole-chessburgers. Decadent stuff. I swear I get chest pains from it. That's why I quit.

Fast Food Burgers
...Could be ~
Back when Burger King was *just* introducing the "$6 burger" (for $3.95) I stopped in in Oregon and tried one ~ Shirley and I were the only persons in the restaurant and the entire crew came out to see how we liked it . It was O.K., I think the 'Whopper' in 1965 was better . One of my Foster boys asked me if I'd tried the "Impossible Burger" (SP ?) that's made of non meat stuff (prolly Monsanto's trash) and I told him we'd give it a go soon .

Power of suggestion ... I stopped in at Carl's Jr. the other night, first time in maybe 8 to 10 years, got the bacon-guacamole cheeseburger - still on the menu - and some onion rings. Took it home and had a top rung beer with it. Not bad. Won't make a habit of it though. Took forever to digest. And holy crap, my bill was 14 bucks! Helpful hint from cmac, no extra charge, a meal that can be had for about $3 in groceries, far superior to a fastfood burger: a can of sardines, with skin and bones is better, and some sauteed veggies - broccoli, brussel sprouts, asparagus etc. are superior carbohydrates. Sautee some mix of that with onion, red bell pepper and garlic, it can be kept in the fridge for several days. Microwave a can of sardines with some of that stir fry, lil bit of mustard and mayo and you have a quickly digested, omega 3 high meal. Sardines are more tasty than I realized.

Canned Foods
It's my Foster boy who prompted me to think of trying this veggie burger, we've not gone yet, I guess I will, I too no longer like the fast foods I loved long ago .
I'm told that it gets good flavor from being cooked on the same grill as the beef patties, we'll see one of these dayze . I hope you were joking about microwaving a can of anything, any metal will blow the oven's fuse ~ my late mother in law had a habit of using her favorite place with a thin line of gold flake in it, always blew the fuse every time... I like sardines in mustard, kippered herring is better though.....

Canned Meat
Yes, I understood that, I too occasionally make a meal out of one tin of sardines in mustard and a few unsalted crackers .
The older I get the more I want to eat less but I still get hungry .

I love sardines! Whatever the sauce they are in is fine with me. Forty years ago when I was a surveyor my Rodman was a sardine guy, too. Lunch was often eaten in the pickup cab for warmth. Open a couple cans and some V-8 juice to wash them down on either Ritz or saltines. I’ll bet to a non-sardine water that cab wouldda been hell on Earth.
