It might be but it will involve studying schematics and diagrams that span 50 pages. I don't have the desire to spend that kind of time on a unsatisfying project. I'm trying to get started on my shop and a million things are slowing me down.

Parasitic Battery Draw Solution

O.K., you might consider the battery disconnect switches many Hot Rodders and Vintage enthusiasts use, it attaches directly to the ground cable at the battery and a 1/2 turn opens the circuit stopping any draw dead .

Used to be under $10 .

I was more thinking if you could separate the wires at the fuse panel simply leave disconnected the *one* that's causing the parasitic draw, no manuals necessary .

BT, DT on very low income Customers vehicles that simply needed to start and run so they could get to work .

Thanks for the suggestion. Separating is not an option. Too many things to relearn/reset on that circuit every time we drive the car. if I have to do something to keep it alive hooking up a battery tender is the easiest option. If this goes on I will run a pigtail out so I don't need to open the hood.

Yeah a battery tender can be arranged where it’s quick and easy to connect and disconnect.
