It needs moisture to survive and seems to live a hell of a long time on hard smooth surfaces. Like glass, metals, fiberglass. What activity combines hard smooth surfaces with moisture? Boats

So while hes careful to point out how wonderful rural life is, he doesnt seem to realize hes just upped his risk level by every person in his daughters house, and whatever level of care they are taking in public places, and IF anyone (like children) touched gramps shiny new boat.

The CDC, WHO, and even imbeciles like trump are now all saying stay at home, this is precisely because of these unknown risks. Now when im fishing, im not wearing gloves, and id be surprised if larry is either.

Glad you’re getting out Tom. We’ve been walking to the park most days which is a few blocks away. Haven’t been within ten feet of anyone at the closest and only in brief passing. We’re usually no closer than a few hundred feet from anyone on our walks and outdoors. We don’t touch anything and if the grandkids were with us we would not let them near the playground equipment. Some folks here think that all parks are like Central Park in New York.

You’re such a genius! We have a good bit of Lysol stocked in and I have a spray bottle of 20% bleach hanging on the rail at the boat dock. The grand kids aren’t allowed on the dock and rarely get out of the house right now. My SIL is OCD and was more afraid of germs before this all happened than most people are now. I’m not worried about them contaminating the boat. I’m worried about the boat contaminating them if they do get out there, which is highly unlikely. That’s why I do a detox before I walk away.

That was a nice insult implying that I am lying about the nitrile gloves. Pretty insulting and low class, but what can one expect from some liberals.

I am lying? We are wiping down darn near the whole inside of the house where no one else has been except ourselves. We take off our shoes at the back door, spray them down with 20% bleach and put on our house shoes that we also disinfect. We wash our hands all the time. After we’ve been anywhere at all we go straight to the washing machine, strip off everything, throw it in there and go to the shower. We wash clothes every three days or less. We are lysoling, or wet wiping down the cars whenever we get out and sometimes when getting in too. We disinfect light switches, door knobs, countertops and even the furniture. We have nitrile gloves in the vehicles and use them. The few times we’ve gone to the store we wear them. I do indeed disinfect the boat including the seats, the outer edges and the touchscreen gadgets.

While writing this I was interrupted with a pile of groceries dropped on the back porch. We set the nonperishables away to be quarantined for a week and washed all the non perishable with Lysol and the stretch wrapped stuff with 20% bleach.

Since you started with calling me a pompous ass I will respond in kind. You have no clue about me and how I’m cleaning things and you imply I’m a liar about it and double down. Uh oh, looks like the county is seeing way too many people evading wisdom and have been forced to make more serious rules. Maybe if larry looked beyond the end of his nose occasionally he would have seen the wisdom of these mandates PRIOR to looking for loopholes to be out and about for un necessary reasons. After all, this has played out 100 times already in the world and in the Nation.
